Situated in the heart of Darjeeling district, Rungmook/Cedars is a 700 hectar tea estate sitting on the Eastern vale. The estate lays claim to being the birthplace of Ratna Bahadur Rai, the former teacher and Indian parlimentarian who is credited with reviving the literary movement among the Nepali youth. This rungmook produces very light beautifully aromatic tea which is best had with a drop of honey or sugar.
