Points Credit : 13 points Currently valued at $1.30 Another tea estate owned by the Birla Group, Risheehat is located at an elevation of 2500 feet to 4800 feet. With about 257 hectares under tea cultivation and 800 odd workers, Risheehat is one of the smaller gardens in the area, but quite well known for quality. Risheehat was one of the earliest gardens to receive ISO 9002 certification, and to this day they continue the tradition of running a school and hospital for their workforce.
The estate has finest China bushes which produce a light flavor with golden liquor. This particular second flush has well sorted wirey leaf blackish brown in appearence. It produces a bright cup with good character and very good body, character and glavor. The brewed leaf infusion is coppery bright in appearance.
