Second Flush Tea
NAMRING Tea Estate is located in the Teesta Valley of Darjeeling mountain range at the altitude of 1380 meters. One of Darjeeling's oldest estates, Namring is also one of the largest in India covering a planted area of more than 475 hectares and employing over 2,000 people. Namring is divided between upper and lower division, and has three gardens Poomong, Jingiam and Namring.
The leaf of this tea is blackish with silver tips, producing a light golden clear liquor with a deightlful sweet aftertaste. The Infusion is coppery brown with light flowery aroma remenicent of rose and Jasmine.
Steep this tea for about two to two and half minute in water that has been brought to a boil and allowed to sit for about a minute.
