The Jultibari tea estate is a division of Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co, a company with 150 year old tradition when the British were still in control of India. After independence, the company changed hands and not its part of the G.D.Kothari Group of Companies.
Having won the coveted Tea Board award and the “Arch of Europe Gold Star” awards for excellence in quality, Jutlibari tea estate fetches some of the best prices in the world for its Assam. The estate produce both CTC and Orthodox varieties of tea. The Orthodox variety is primarily exported to Germany, and not much is available in the US.
Located about 8 Km. from Duliajan in Tingri Circle of Dibrugarh district in Assam, this tea garden is converting over to high quality variety of clones from where produces 1.07 million kgs of tea annually on an area of 707.47 hectares.

- Brewing Temperature: Assam teas are quite capable of withstanding boiling, so if you like strong tea, feel free to boil this tea till it comes to one boil. However best way to produce good flavor is by steeping the tea in water that has just been brought to a boil. This tea goes well with Milk as well.
